On 26 November 2025, the MCT Department successfully organised a Hands-on Session on Deep Learning for Object Detection, held at the GPCL Lab, Kulliyyah of Engineering, IIUM. The session was led by Dr. Hasan, bringing together 12 participants consisting of students and young researchers interested in advancing their knowledge in artificial intelligence and computer vision.
This workshop focused on practical learning experiences, enabling participants to apply deep learning techniques directly for real-time object detection applications. The session provided exposure to tools, frameworks, and AI models commonly used in industry, bridging theoretical understanding with hands-on implementation.
The program reflects CUTe’s commitment to fostering innovation and empowering talent to develop meaningful, real-world technological solutions.
