On 31 October 2025, the Kulliyyah of Engineering, International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM) welcomed a group of 50 students from a school in Thailand for an educational visit. The visit aimed to expose the students to the university’s academic environment, engineering facilities, and innovative research projects.
During the session, representatives from the Centre for Unmanned Technology (CUTe) introduced the students to the exciting world of unmanned systems and robotics. The students learned about the purpose and goals of CUTe, including its mission to advance research and innovation in technology that benefits society.
The visiting students also had the opportunity to see some of CUTe’s latest projects and prototypes, gaining first-hand insights into how IIUM engineers design and develop robotic technologies that integrate science, creativity, and human values.
The visit concluded with an interactive Q&A session, where students expressed their curiosity and enthusiasm about engineering and technological innovation. CUTe and the Kulliyyah of Engineering look forward to more collaborative and inspiring visits like this in the future nurturing the next generation of young minds passionate about STEM and innovation.
