Pushing the boundaries of maritime technology, the Centre for Unmanned Technologies (CUTe) team recently conducted real-world field testing for our ongoing research project: SCANS (Intelligent Speed Compliance and Navigation System for Marine Vessels)!

Our project lead Dr. Hazrin, Dr. Dwi, and student researcher Hafiz Hamzah joined forces with the DJ Marine team on-site to rigorously test the Speed Compliance Module aboard marine vessels. This milestone brings us closer to enhancing maritime safety, vessel regulation, and intelligent navigation systems in local waters.
