CUTe, Kulliyyah of Engineering (KOE), International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM) recently hosted a visit from the Institut Penyelidikan Perikanan Batu Maung, Penang, to discuss the Mechanization of Water Quality Sensor Probe Project at the Batu Maung fish cages.

The meeting was attended by eight representatives from the Institut Penyelidikan Perikanan Batu Maung, along with representatives from INOCEM IIUM, KICT IIUM, IOLAYERZ Technology, and the CUTe team. The session was held on Tuesday, 30 December 2025, at CUTe, KOE IIUM.

The discussion focused on pre-installation planning for the mechanized water quality sensor probe system, which aims to improve water circulation efficiency and support sustainable aquaculture practices at Batu Maung.

The session allowing to review system design, implementation strategies, and key operational considerations prior to deployment. This collaboration reflects a shared commitment to advancing innovative and sustainable engineering solutions in aquaculture development.
